As part of an overall brand refresh, my team was tasked with translating this new vision into an actionable system that could be used by various creative teams both internally and externally to deliver assets consistently both visually and from a production perspective.
The 'big ask' here was to create a design system that would allow for maximum flexibility while providing brand consistency. And everything had to work everywhere, from smartphones to tablets and desktops. In response, we developed a system that was designed and coded to be completely modular. Each module was created as an element in a Creative Cloud library. We worked closely with our development team to make sure each module was coded to work independently, allowing for a consistent and efficient production process.
THE SPLIT KIT
Key to capturing the brand voice was developing relatable 'conversations' in the graphic form of the split-kit.
